On To Macau

It's been a busy week, and it seems so much longer than seven days. I (ugh) have over ten freaking huge mosquito bites all over me and they itch. For some reason, some kinds of mosquitoes make me swell...yeeeccchh.

Vague brushes on what I did - we went to Ocean Park with relatives on my mom's side (OP being like PNE, to a degree), went to museums (history of HK, and one not unlike Science World), and various other things. Busy. And now we're heading off to Macau via ferry tomorrow for a week, staying with friends there. Then it's back to HK for another week!

Thank goodness for air conditioning. Lol.

God bless!

It's 10:08 pm, if anyone's wondering. Not seven in the morning.

Day 3

We've ridden on the subway, which here is called the MTR, Mass Transit Railway. My mom thinks. Heh. And double-decker buses. It's kinda creepy, the way the drivers drive the buses so close to each other that were there windows you could open, you could just lean forward and out and touch the other bus. But I guess they know what they're doing, so I shan't worry...

...much.

Lol.

Heading off to church now...meaning I shall have to try to understand Chinese. Lol...at least I know some.

Hong Kong

Well, we're here, our second official day in Hong Kong. Kowloon, to be more specific. It's rather humid here, but that was to be expected. Ugh...I'm not particularly tolerant of heat, but the air conditioner is present in nearly every building around.

We spent - THIRTEEN - freaking hours on the plane from San Fran. to HK! Killer...literally. Hah.

Watched several in-flight movies - Kaeli, I have a recommendation. "Take the Lead" is based on a true story on a guy named Pierre Dulane who in the movie taught a DT class of delinquent students to dance. Dance.

I want to dance!

Ahem.

Jet lag is quite weird.

We walk a lot, everywhere. My feet still hurt.

It's about 11:30 am here, contrary to 8:30 pm over in Canada, which my watch is still set to. We're fifteen hours ahead, if anyone bothers to know.

Well, am off to lunch now, meaning more walking. Lol. Rain here is fast, sudden, and somewhat sporadic.

Man, this is random all-over-the-place, but I'm hurrying. We reserved a time at the restaurant/buffet and we're going to be late...

I'm fifteen. This is insanely weird.

Signing off - Steph.

Awaiting Departure for San Francisco

Exactly what the title says. Am currently in the lounge of Vancouver International Airport, eating breakfast...writing my blog...because I have spare time. Lol.

Yup, Kaeli, it'd be cool if I can post pictures...if I have time...and if I figure out how to work it.

We'll be flying to San Francisco from here, then straight to Hong Kong from there.

Yes, I am a very random person.

No, I am not Japanese. Kamuri means "crown", and so does my real name.

Pinky-Winky...

I don't like pink.

So why is everything on my blog pink?

Ha ha. I got annoyed at my brother for going to get his shot before I did, so I wasn't nervous after all, I was ticked. Weird...

I like raspberry yoghurt.

I hate that spelling of yogurt. Canadian or otherwise. Happy Independence Day to Yankees!

I don't like using Canucks for Canadians. I couldn't really care less about hockey. ^_^

Hi Ho, Hi Ho, It's Off To HK We Go...

Hong Kong, here we come...at about 4 am tomorrow. Hah, it hasn't really sunk in yet, the fact that we're going. Kinda crazy. What if we forget something? I'm sitting here eating scrambled eggs with chopsticks and wondering how hot it's going to be over there in Hong Kong.

Maybe, if I don't melt there first, I can log on and blog a few highlights of the trip. To friends: all emails, if any, will be from my hotmail address and will be scarce.

Oh yes...shots today, too. Immunities and whatever. Can't say I'm a particularly big fan of needles...

Delicacy of Mortal Threads...

It must be admitted that I get overdramatic and elaborate with my titles, but my muse seems to be in full swings these days, now that school is out.

I find it hard to say that my life's so exciting at the moment...but times will come when I shall feel the need for such a blog...

I do believe I'm rambling. I'm the type of girl who does so a lot, as my friends can most certainly testify.

And, well, until I can think of more to say, I shall declare boldly, "Au revoir, until another day!"

My, dramatic much?
